As a leading market player, MEG specializes in the worldwide export of medical drugs, devices, equipment, kits and ancillary services. We work with (inter)national customers and suppliers.
Will this be your new challenge?
As a Sales Specialist, you will be the linchpin for our sales department. Under the guidance of the account and sales managers, you will create winning proposals by ensuring complete and competitive files. You know your customers, the assortment and our current stock positions. For additional information you contact the purchasing, quality or logistics department. Complicated dossiers are discussed in advance with colleagues from other departments.
Throughout the entire sales process, you will monitor progress and deadlines. Moreover, you communicate about the progress of the dossier with the team(s) involved and the customer.
What will you do?
- You proactively handle and evaluate new requests and tenders.
- You are responsible for the development of offers, tenders and tenders.
- You process all information so that a balanced choice can be made between different alternatives.
- You liaise with the client to obtain and/or provide required information.
- You inform the customer about delivery times, suggest possible solutions and handle any customer questions.
- You collect and analyze basic data, draw up account plans and help determine the strategy for making competitive offers.
Who are we looking for?
MEG is looking for a real jack-of-all-trades, who creates overview in a project, thinks in terms of possibilities and goes for an optimal result. You enjoy working in a young, commercial and dynamic work environment and like to push boundaries together with your colleagues.
- You are customer and collaboration oriented.
- You are accurate, stress resistant and structured.
- You have a background in International Business or Commercial Economics and at least 2 years of experience in an international and multicultural environment.
- You have an Bachelor (HBO) working and thinking level and mastery of both the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
- Knowledge of quotation and/or tendering processes and experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Navision) are a plus.
